Jack Harlow being told he has bopis waiting for him backstage at an event
The culinary world is ablaze this week as rapper and actor Jack Harlow has come out with his new take on the classic Filipino dish “bopis”. Inspired by Filipino culture on his recent visit to the island, Harlow declared he would bring the dish back to the west, carrying a takeout box with him on the plane. “Yeah, it’s fire.” said the music star, when asked what he thought of the meal. Harlow will be teaming up with Taco Bell and Burger King to add bopis to their menus, in a $300,000,000 million dollar ad campaign. Customers will be able to order the new “Jack Harlow Bopis Meal” from Taco Bell this summer, and a meal of the same name from Burger King in the fall. It is unclear how this hefty undertaking will affect either fast food chain, or Jack Harlow’s music career, but some say that with enough time, Americans may grow to enjoy the taste of sautéed pig lungs and bull hearts, after being exposed to them through the world of fast food. Hopefully, Jack Harlow will be the bridge that connects America to the Philippines, but only time will tell.
